Trainee OJT Records System quick tour Gamification Leaderboard View SCORM course General | Re-assignment | Activate/Deactivate | Skills | Notifications | Certificate | CE — **eLeaP Course Settings Tutorial Transcript** Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we are looking at the setting section of courses. For this, I am going to go into this course here. You’ve got two options. You can click on the name of the course and you’ll be able to go to the settings area, or you can also just click on the edit option on the same line as the course, and you’ll be able to get to the settings area. The settings area, and I’m going to go ahead and collapse this section here so we can concentrate on the settings area. The settings area is made up of several different sections, if you will. You’ve got general settings, you’ve got activate deactivate features, you’ve got skills, you’ve got notification settings, you’ve got certificate settings, you’ve got e-commerce settings, as well as continuing education settings. I’m gonna come back to the general area here. So in the general area, you do have an option to activate the course, activate or deactivate the course. You have an option to activate or deactivate the e-signature requirement. Note that the account can have the e-signature option automatically turned on for all courses. Simply check out our video on how to do that from the company profile area. The self-enrollment section allows you to allow users to enroll in this course. It is designed for either all users to be able to enroll or specific users based on the user groups that you select and make this open and available to. I’m going to go ahead and close this for now. The lock trainee lesson order allows you to essentially tell the system, look, this particular course has multiple lessons and I need folks to be able to go through the course in the order that we have defined here. That is what the lock setting does. The next area is the available after completion. This allows you to basically decide, Hey, what happens once somebody completes this course? Do they continue to have access to the course content to their quiz results or other areas, or do you want to deactivate that? If you do want to deactivate that, simply toggle that to the off position. The next section is the deadline option. I have mine already activated, but I will deactivate it so I can show you. When you activate the deadline option, you’ve got two choices. You can select a specific date for the deadline, or you can select a period of time, which can be days or it can be months if you prefer that option. The next section in the deadline option is the reminder notice area, which is very important. You can set up the system where it sends daily reminders if this checkbox is made based on the deadline that you have set up. So in this case, for example, five days before that 11th month, the system will start notifying users that have not completed the course about the pending deadline. You do then have an option here to decide what happens after the deadline has been passed. If in this case you still want folks to be able to complete the course and complete any quizzes associated with the course, toggle this on or leave it on for the available after deadline. The auto reassignment is an entirely comprehensive system. It lets you map courses that need to be automatically reassigned. So for example, I have this course here set up for a yearly reassignment and to be reassigned five times. You also do have the fixed date where you basically lock in the first instance of reassignment and however many times you want the reassignment to occur. So check out our video on the auto reassignment feature. If everything looks good, go ahead and click on the save settings and lock that in.
