V5 Plus – How to create Courses

Hello and welcome to eLeaP. Today, we’re diving into how you can start creating courses within the platform. Begin by navigating to your courses tab and look for the blue ‘Add New Course’ button to get started.

First, input the course name, which is the only mandatory field. Here, I’ll name it ‘SOP 101’. You have the option to select an existing category or create a new one. I’ll choose the existing category ‘SOP’.

While not mandatory, adding a course cover image and estimating the course duration enhances the visual appeal and sets expectations for potential learners. For instance, indicate that the course might take around 15 minutes to complete.

It’s beneficial to include a description and objectives to provide users with clear expectations of the course content. Once completed, hit save to proceed to adding lessons.

For the lesson creation, you might title it ‘GMP 101’ and use similar content from the course description or enhance it with additional text, graphics, or videos. Importing multimedia, like YouTube clips, is straightforward and enriches the learning experience.

Once you’ve added your content, remember to activate the lesson and save your changes. This platform supports a variety of content formats including SCORM packages and quizzes, which can be created from a question bank or imported in bulk for efficiency.
