V5 Plus – Flip Cards

Hello, and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we want to introduce you to Flip Cards or some call them Flash cards. These are just quick little , uh, definitions that you can add to your lesson. They are powerful, but very simple and effective tools to encourage learning. So let me show you how you can do that. I’m going into, this, website and say, I want to add meta cognition as a definition, right. So, you know, I’ll, I can just copy that, but,, for now I’ll just go ahead and copy this, uh, section right here and I’ll go back into my into our eLeaP account, click on add flip card and then click right here. So right over here, metacognition. All right. And, uh, paste my, my definition over there. Click submit. All right. And of course I’ve added my definition to, uh, my, uh, my flip cards right over there.

So when I go to my lesson, uh, and I’m going to go to this lesson right here, add title. I can go over here and I can say, okay, I’m gonna add, um, a flip card to this. Uh, so I can click right here and I can add the flip card, see that right there. And so now I have four flip cards, uh, for the purpose of this, I’m just gonna go ahead and, and remove one I’ll, I’ll remove this for, for now. Um, and then I’ll go ahead and save it. So I have three, three flip cards in this lesson. All right. So if I go to my end user view, which is this right here, and I go ahead and just refresh that for you all, uh, you should see how easy, uh, this flip card actually looks to the end user. So this is the end user view.
I have three cards right there. You can see the last one that I put in metacognition. And so all this is is you have the definition, um, of a term, and once your user clicks on the, the term, the, get the definition popping up, like so. So very effective, they can be on this, on their mobile devices. Um, again, extremely simple, but it’s a very, very effective tool. So, uh, feel free to give that a go.
