Gamification Leaderboard V5 Plus: View SCORM course (00:00) Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to get started adding content to your lessons. We are using this course outline here. Essentially, what you’re seeing is the ability to add what we call chapters as well as lessons. Chapters are visual breaks in your training program. (00:57) Let’s get started here. I do have a couple of lessons that I added previously. This is a text lesson, so pretty much I give the title and then I put in the text here, and that’s what you see here. Let’s go to the next lesson. This is actually an SOP that I’m going to add. And how do I add that? I click right over here where it says click to add content. And on my right side here, I’m going to select choose files. I’m going to select this PDF file, and it’s uploading. And once it uploads, I can actually embed it. So if I check this, click on this toggle here, it will basically embed the file in the lesson title so that they don’t have to download anything. They literally will click on it and be able to see it. So we’ll have that cooking and we’ll come back to that in a second. (01:50) The other thing we’re going to do is add a chapter and add some additional content for you. So to add a chapter, click here where it says ‘add chapter’ and also add some videos. So I’m going to add some videos here, and then of course, I’ll say ‘understand’. And so I’m going to give a title to my video ‘Understanding GMP’. Alright, so that’s the name of my lesson, and I’m going to add some videos. So again, I’ll click on the edit, and I’m right here. Now in eLeaP, you can add videos by uploading them. So I can use this option to upload an actual file into the system, or I can add a video by utilizing the link to let’s say a YouTube or Vimeo video. So for the purposes of this, I am actually going to add a video from Vimeo. So again, I just go right over here. All you need is that URL. So click on it and click. So, and that’s the video right there. See how simple that is? Let’s add a YouTube video. So again, I’m just clicking this URL here and (02:58) Saving it. And then going back into eLeaP. And again, I’m clicking on this icon here and I’ll post that YouTube link and just like, so there’s my video that I’ve added. Alright, so these are just two quick examples of adding content in the form of a video. Notice that this lesson is inactive. If I toggle this little switch here, it activates it. Similarly, I can do that for the previous lesson. So we’ve got a couple of different formats. Let’s try adding in a SCORM. Alright, so I’m going to add a chapter here and I’m saying SCORMs. So this is just again a different format. You don’t have to use SCORMs, they’re advanced eLearning formats. Ask us if you have any questions, but let’s say you do have SCORM content. Just click here where it says ‘Add SCORM lesson’. And again, you just simply go down to whatever you’ve saved. (03:54) Your SCORM files are typically zip files. So you can click to add that zip file. And what’s cool about SCORMs is they automatically create the lesson for you so you don’t have to create a lesson name, it does that for you automatically. So now we have four different formats there. Why didn’t we go into the quiz area and work on that? So in quizzes, you can add a quiz question. So let’s say I go in and say ‘What is four times four?’ Alright, so that’s my question. I’ll put my answers here. Let me see. I can add maybe a second option. I’ll just do two. Then what you do is you select the right answer, alright, and you click save. So that’s one way to add quiz questions. Another way is to import the questions, so it just saves you the time. So I’ve got a lot of files here that I’ll actually import my quiz questions. (04:48) And if you notice, the system creates the template that you can download for your questions. And then once you import them, they’ll be so very, very easy to do. I’ll go in and activate my quiz. Basically, what this is, is I’m telling the system, use some of the questions I’ve created so that there’s randomization, I can even add retries and a whole host of other options. We do have separate videos for adding quizzes. So of course, I’ve got my quiz in there. That’s great. Now because we have a quiz in there, I’m going to go back and show you some things that you can do in your lesson. So I’m going to go back to my GMPs, say I wanted to add a little quick quiz here. Quick quizzes are basically a check mark. As people have consumed content, it’s not going to be graded and locked into the result, but it does give them a way to practice for that final test. So I can click right here, and it will bring up questions that are multiple choice, true/false, rank, or sequence type questions, right? Because we do need to be able to provide feedback for the user. So I’ve added two in there. Okay, (05:56) So are just different ways. You can also add what we call flip cards. And so these are again, additional types of content that you can pretty much create. If let’s say you go in and you want to add in a definition, okay, so Apple, a fruit or tech company, alright, I’m making something up here, but you get the idea. And so what that does is it gives people a chance to basically review whatever you’ve got there and be able to have additional content that they can actually absorb. I wanted to say something about uploading a file. So you notice this little blue icon here. If let’s say you don’t want people downloading your physical files, you can literally limit that. If you click on the little blue icon here, it changes to gray. And what that would do is it will limit or prevent downloading your content. (06:48) So we’ve got courses lessons here. We’ve got some advanced tools in here. You can add Glo, FAQs, resources, all of that good stuff. Let’s go ahead and go to our second step. I want to show a few different things. So of course, this course is not active. You can activate it by toggling on this button here you can add deadlines. So let’s say I have a course that is about a two-month deadline course. I can definitely do that right here. See how simple it is. And there’s ways to actually remind people as well as other tools in there. All of the additional settings in the system are located here. So you can go into activate the deactivate. So you can add in feedback forms, you can add in skills, you can even toggle on the types of notifications you want the system to do. (07:37) And you can add in certificates of completion. So what a certificate of completion is something that we release to the end user after they complete the course. So it might be a completion which requires a quiz to be passed. It might be a completion that is simply viewing the course material, right? So whatever you want to do, the system probably has the capability to do that. If you encounter something and you need help, just let us know and we’ll be happy to help. Alright, so I just made up a certificate here that requires somebody to pass a quiz and then of course once they do that, the certificate will be released. Alright, so if everything looks good, you simply go to the assignment phase, which is right here. You can assign to users or you can assign to user groups. We do have a separate video for that. As usual, if you have any questions about this or any of the features in the system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
