Trainee OJT Records System quick tour Gamification Leaderboard View SCORM course [Simple] [Pre-set Navigation] [Self-Enrollment] [Scheduled Release] — (00:01): Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we want to look at one of the most popular learning paths, which is the scheduled release learning path. Let me show you an example and then we’ll go ahead and create that particular learning path. So here’s a scheduled release learning path right over here. You see that I have five courses in the learning path, and you see the release conditions. So the release parameters, as you can see, there’s a course that goes out immediately after assignment one that goes out seven days, 14 days, 21 days, and so on and so forth. You can essentially change that to whatever timeframe you want for the release, months or days. Alright, so what does the scheduled release do? Well, what it does is it lets you essentially map out your training or your release of trainings over a long period. (00:53): So if you can imagine a onboarding class of employees or staff or colleagues, and then you want to be able to have courses essentially deployed and rolled out over 90 days for the initial onboarding or even beyond that, right? This is the tool that you need and it is powerful. It is neat to be able to set up and it works beautifully. So we’ll show you how to go about doing that right now. So to create a scheduled release learning path, first I’m going to go ahead and add it in there. Scheduled release path. I’m just making up some short cuts here. And then of course I’ll select the learning path, scheduled release, click on that. And then of course, the next thing is I’m going to be adding in the courses. And that’s important because it is when you add in the courses that you then see the option of adding in the various release mechanisms. (01:47): Okay? So let me go ahead and add about three courses or four courses, why not? And then once I add those courses, they’re going to default to immediate. But guess what? I can change that and that’s what I’m going to do now. So maybe you want the first course to be released on a particular date that you set up, say November 1st or whatever. You can definitely do that. For the purpose of this video, I’ll leave it as an immediate release. And then the second is going to be released, say in one or 30 days. So 30 days from assignment, okay, lock it in. The next going to be released in say 60 days. Again, I’m just using an example here that are sample to understand. And then the third would be released, I’d say 90 days. So remember, this is our onboarding series, release this 90 days. (02:36): So what the system does is once you have this locked in, it actually tracks to see essentially when users have been added to the learning path. And based on that information, it then automatically sets a calendar for each user and it would actually be able to work on the micro level to ensure that these assigned users are getting the course or courses release that exact time that you have specified. So it’s a very powerful system and of course we have it used for a wide variety of use cases. And so feel free to contact us if you have ideas.
