Trainee OJT Records System quick tour Gamification Leaderboard View SCORM course Speaker 1 (00:00): Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we want to give you an overview of the OJT system, the OJT standard for on-the-job training. It is a structured approach to learning. You can utilize OJT for on-the-job training in the workplace., You can also use it for activities that happen. For example, somebody took a webinar online and you want to coordinate and correlate those documents and reports. Alright, so in eLeaP for example, you can utilize their OJT for a lot of functions in the system. You can use it to track skills and competencies. You, of course, can use it for compliance-based training, and it really facilitates the ability to document training that occurs in an asymmetrical manner. It doesn’t always have to be online training. So let’s go ahead and get started in utilizing the OGT system in eLeaP. Now, of course, I do have mine activated already., (00:53): That’s why you see it on the main tab here. But if, let’s say you were logged in as an admin and you didn’t see that tab sthe howing up in the main section, it simply means that your OJT option has not been activated, just like I have activated mine and you can’t see it any longer. So let’s go ahead and activate it and let’s get going. So once you activate your OJT option, you will see the section here for adding in fields. These are important, these are the ways that you customize the OJT system for your own use. For our example here, I’ve added a main section called safety and hazard training, and a half soft section Soft, soft selections. Excuse me. If you were to add a field, you simply come over here and add a field in there. And once you add a field in there, you can actually put in a lysubfield. (01:41): So if you have a dropdown that you want to add, you can definitely utilize this option. You can also of course edit the field. So if you want to edit a field, just put your cursor over it and you’ll be able to edit the field, right? So let’s say you have your OGT activated, you have your fields enabled. Now let’s go ahead and use the system to demonstrate how the OGT works. So this is my OGT page dashboard here. I can download reports in Excel. Of course, I have the option to add records in their system manually. So I can go here, select the user’s name, go ahead and fill out these fields here, or selections if you will, and then of course decide how many minutes or hours the training lasted for. And then right over here where it says add file, it is not a mandatory field, but it is super important. (02:30): Think about scenarios where somebody actually e-sign a document, or excuse me, signs a document or attends a certificate. And you want to be able to utilize that in the system as your document record, right? This is where you are able to do that. Simply go in there and add those documents into the system. Very, very easy to do on the right side of your screen is areas where you can, for example, attach this particular record to a scale of competency. So I can go here and I can look for, say, a technical competency or any other competencies that are added in their skills. And I can say, look, for you attaining this activity, you would earn 10 points towards that skill achievement. And then if everything looks good, just click save record and the system adds the record in there for you. Now let’s look over here on the next line. (03:20): This is where you are able to go in there and pull down information. So for example, I’m looking for all of my users that have the name John. I can pull that down very, very quickly. I can also utilize the dropdown selection here to further filter the types of data that I want. Okay? And similarly, you can use a from two as well as select the approximate amount of time for the activity to be able to narrow down those reports. The next thing you can do is, for example, click on the user’s name here and you’ll be able to see the data for those individuals. If you scroll horizontal, scroll to the right, you have the option to edit or delete the action. If the individual has utilized OGT in conjunction with uploading files, you’ll be able to see those files that they’ve uploaded. Typically, it will be indicated by an icon that indicates that a file has been uploaded as part of that activity. (04:19): So just look out for that. Alright, so let’s go to a user’s profile. So I’m going to go on to coin’s account here and there is an activity tab and you notice that there’s an OJT six section for you. So that’s again where you are able to go to get additional information. Of course, I can toggle from courses completed by this individual learning paths completed by this individual skills and competencies. And then of course OJT. Alright, so now let’s take a look at this from the viewpoint of the end user or the learner. This is my app profile as the end user. If I go to my OJT tab here, I can add my own OJT records. So let’s say that I had a class that I took online or a seminar that I attended, and of course I was able to earn a certificate of some sort. I’ll be able to upload that right here. Now notice the one thing I need to do is to check the box that says, is this record verified before I’m allowed to save my record?
