This is Don and I am excited about this new feature that we are unveiling today. This is the web hooks feature. Web hooks can work in concert with API or pretty much on their own. What they do is they are able to send and fire off notifications for various actions that have been performed. So a great application of web hooks, for example, in eLeaP would be I would want to notify, for example, my Slack instance, right, when a user completes a training course or a user submits a feedback, a user a passes a quiz. One of my students enrolls in a course. Essentially I want to be in the know, once these things happen. So essentially to get that going you know, you select actions. So let’s say I want to know when a user passes a quiz and then you want to put in a URL of the destination source, where does action is going to be reported to. Where this (action) will be fired? So I’m just putting something here for now. So essentially what we have now is we’ve added a web hook to be able to alert us when a course is completed. Right? Cool. Let me show you what my Slack instance does when these web hooks are actually firing. So I’m going to go to a sample course here because I put in a screenshot. So you all can see exactly how a web hooks are powerful. This right here is an example of the various actions that the web hook fired out to my Slack instance. So think about this. Um, basically, you know, busy working and I get an update, Oh yeah, of course has been assigned to this individual, right? And Oh look, a user has completed a training path. Um, or this individual Jenny had just passed a quiz, right? This is what you can do with web hooks in addition to other things. There’s just so much you can do, but they are powerful extension of your LMS program. And that’s what eLeaP does. Okay? It’s innovative. It’s bringing you all of these things so that you can integrate eLeaP with a lot of other tools. So, for example, if you want to update your payroll system, when a user completes a certain training or a certain number of trainings, this is how you set it up, right? We will basically update this to your ADP instance or your payroll system to be able to fire this off. Of course, this is a very simplistic overview of it. If you do need help or are looking for ways to incorporate this into your organization or your account, let us know and we will help you get that done. As usual, if you have any questions about this or any of the feature in the system, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
