LMS Drag and Drop

Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we want to give you a little tip on using the drag and drop feature in the system.

So there are a couple of places that you’ll find beneficial to use the drag and drop tool. Let’s go to a regular course. So this shareable course here, it’s a regular course. I’ve got these lessons in there. If I, for example, wanted to move lesson four down over here, I can just grab it and drag it over here. When you see your cursor change shape, you know that you are able to do that.

So as you can see here, I can for example, move this video up here, and as you can see, I’m able to drag and drop and move items. Another area you can do that is in the quiz area. Again, you grab the item and you can move it up or down to reorder the questions in your quiz.

So that’s the second place that you can use drag and drop. Let’s go to another type of course called the observation checklist course. I’m going to use this as an example right here. So I’ll click on edit over here, and you notice all these statements here. What’s neat about a drag and drop is if, let’s say you made a mistake or you just prefer that the order of the statements be changed, I can for example, say, look, I want “document any missing, damaged, non-compliant PPE”, to be the first statement.

So as you can see, I just grabbed it and I dragged it up there, right? So you can certainly do that in your observation assessment courses. Let’s go to another area that you can use drag and drop, and that is in learning paths. So for this, I’m going to go to this GMP series.

As you can see, I’ve got my learning path made up of three courses here, and of course, section one, two, and three. If I go to manage learning path, I can actually use the drag and drop to move things around. So let’s say I’m going to move three, two, the number one position, as you can see, I can move it to that position, and once I do that, I’m able to click save to lock that in.

Alright, you can definitely do that right over there. I believe we have it in the e-commerce area also, where you can use a drag and drop option to do that. So feel free to check that out. Also, let’s see. I believe that’s all, but if there are other areas in the system, whatever you put your cursor on, if you notice that it changes shape, then you know that you can utilize the drag and drop option there to be able to move items around.
