In this quick tutorial, we want to take a look at how you can reset course completions. It is quite simple. Let me go into a couple of courses here that have some data and we will get started. So, how to run effective meetings is a good example. I have this course here and basically what’s going on is that I need to reset the course completion status for the user Abigail. How can I do that? Well, that’s super easy to do. You go into the course completion report area right here and you will see check boxes next to users that have completed. You would only see this for users that have completed the course. As you can see, if the user has not completed a course, you will not see the checkbox next to them. But if they have, you can simply check that box right there. And you can do this for multiple users if you want. So for example, I’m going to reset the status for these two users and then you will hit the reset completion status. You will need to confirm it because this resets the status back to not started. We do capture this action in your course log. So as you can see right here, we do capture that information right here. It’s super important. We also do capture it in the audit trail. So if you go to your audit trail, you will see the data pertaining to the reset right there. And it is simply to make sure that if you come back and need to find out why somebody’s status changed from say, completed to not started, that you have the data on how to do that. So again, it is very, very easy to reset the course status for course completions. Simply go into your completion report area and check the box next to whichever user or users you want to reset their completion. Click on the reset completion, go ahead and confirm, and the system will reset that course completion.
