Trainee OJT Records System quick tour Gamification Leaderboard View SCORM course Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this tutorial, we are looking at the custom report templates system. For this, I’ll go to my reports tab right over here. And if you are not familiarized with our My Report system, it allows you to create reports as well as schedule reports. In my reports area, you have one, two, three, four, five, six system reports. With the reports template feature, you are able to create templates that you can then use in the My Reports area. Let me show you how. So I’ll go over to the reports template section. I’ll click right over here where it says add template. I’m going to call this completion percentage. And these allowed filters are important because when you go to create your report, you might want to add additional filtering capabilities. So feel free to check the filters that you want to allow. Personally, I would allow the date range filter also. And for example, you want Elite to use the assigned date when using the date range filter to create your report. So add your template name, select the template type, if you will. This is a course overview template. You could select the other options there. And then right over here, you can add in the columns that you want in your report. This is very granular. So for example, I can add first name. I can add last name. Okay. And of course, as you can see, I can move these fields so that I can reorder them. And so this allows you to really get granular as much as you want and add in the fields that you want. So there are lots of fields and we have also added the ability to use your custom fields. So for example, location is a custom field and I’ll edit in there. By the way, when you add a field, you can edit what the column name is. So if you want us to say something like company email instead of just email, you can edit that to suit your internal preferences. So adding the columns that you need, be sure to add in all the columns that you are interested in. And then of course, once you are done with that, you can go to the next section, which is the conditions area. So for example, a condition I can add is that I want only courses where the quiz active status is yes. Okay? In other words, if a course does not have an active quiz, I don’t want it to be in this report. So these conditions really help you to narrow down and refine the data that you are collecting. So feel free to use that. For example, I could add a condition that says if the user is not in Louisville, then they can be pulled into this report. So again, it’s just giving you options in terms of the different things that you can do. And then last but not least is the order of the field. So for example, for First Name you want us to use a sending order, descend an order. You have those options right there. If you don’t want to use them, that is perfectly fine. Feel free to ignore that. Last but not least, go ahead and click save template, and the system will save your template. You will need to activate the template for it to show in my reports area. Okay? So if you do not activate it, it will not show as a report type to you. So I’ll go back to my templates area and I will activate my custom template. And now when I go to my reports area and go to add a new item, notice I can select this completion percentage, which is my custom report. And again, you do now have the option to use all these filters that you have pre-selected in the system, right? So it just gives you a lot of options here. If you need to schedule this report for weekly, daily or whatever, you certainly can do that. And last but not least, just hit send, and that’s how you schedule your custom reports.
