Recording Multiple Quiz Attempts

Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this tutorial, we are looking at implementing multiple quiz attempts in the system.

For this, I’ll go to my quiz link over here, and as I already do have questions here, I’ll go straight to the settings area. And here’s what I want to point out. There’s a line called number of quiz retries, and I currently have two. What that means is the user has one main attempt and then two subsequent retries for a total of three. Okay.

So once you have this locked in and the quiz is completed, you will be able to see that the users should they take advantage of the retries, you will see that information in your quiz results. So let me go to my quiz results section for this particular course. As you can see, I have three users that have completed, and I have one user that has taken advantage of the retries here.

So let’s click to get details. So I’ll click on their name here and I’ll go to their quiz score area. And you notice the attempts are listed here. The first attempt is a 33%. If I click on that, I’ll get the details. So I see here that they correctly answered this question, but unfortunately did not correctly answer the next two. And that is the reason for this particular score.

And if I go to the second attempt, I’ll see again the different questions listed and how they answered those questions. So this is how simple it is to get the quiz results and the quiz retries in place. Something else that you can take advantage of is the quiz results summary. If you click on that, it will give you an idea of how users are scoring across the various questions.
