How to add Course Notes

Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this tutorial, we are looking at the course notes system.

So when you are in a course as a creator, whether you are an admin and instructor or coordinator, there might be need for you to add in course level notes, maybe even some attachments you don’t want to go out to end users when you assign a course. You want to keep this typically for yourself or for other course creators.

Well, how do you do that? If you have any files that you want to add into a course that you don’t want to be visible to end users, how do you do that? Well, that’s actually quite simple.

What you want to do is go to a course and click on the down arrow here. You will see the notes option. Click on that and that opens up the notes section.

So here you can add notes, and then of course, upload any files that you want to add to the notes section, and you’ll then be able to store these within the system. So if you click submit, the system now stores these notes. Okay? You can see all notes.

You can of course delete notes if you want to. So these are all notes, and as you can see, they’re very, very comprehensive. The idea with this feature is so that you are able to go about creating your courses normally but have the option to add in additional documents that might be useful, and not having to worry about these materials being available to end users to view.
