Trainee OJT Records System quick tour Gamification Leaderboard View SCORM course Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we are looking at adding course notes. Now, course notes are designed to allow course instructors and other creators to have an area where they can add additional notes pertaining to that course, and these will not be sent out with the course material. So how do you get to the course notes area? It is quite simple. In the course mode, whether you are editing or you are in the stats mode, it doesn’t really matter. As a matter of fact, I’ll click to go to the stats mode. This is the stats mode. You’ll be able to click on the down arrow here, and when you click on it, you will see a link or a tab menu called notes. Click on that and it gives you this area here where you can add course notes. For example, “For this particular course”. We need to make something clear. Course notes are going to be available to all admins because they can click to go to that section of the course. Also, as expected, the course notes will be available to the creator of the course. And so when you go again to the dropdown arrow, and click on notes, you will see the notes pertaining to that particular course. Okay. Now if you want to see all notes, you can click right here where it says all notes, and the system will bring up all notes that you have created. And you can of course filter this by specific courses or search for specific keywords for your notes for that particular course. Let’s go back to the course. Something else that you can do in terms of course notes is be able to upload additional files. So let’s take a look at this particular note. Notice that I have an option here to upload a file. Of course, I have to select a file, and once you have the file selected, you’ll be able to upload that file into the system. I’m going to go ahead and select another file here. Ok. I’ll select this file and I’ll upload it. So that file then becomes part of your course notes and you can go to your reports area to download your course notes files. So if you go to your reports area, go to the bottom of the page, you would see the section there under the HDD report that says files in course notes. You’ll click on that and you’ll be able to see all the files there in that report and you’ll be able to export this report out of the system. As usual, this is a quick and easy way to add information pertaining to your course development, like updates, changes, and any additional private information you want to add that does not go out with your course.
