How to do everything in eLeaP Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we want to give you an overview of the eLeaP LMS system. I’m logged in as an admin. We do have six types of users. To start off, we are looking at the dashboard. You can configure your dashboard in terms of some of the analytics you see here. By simply going to the gear icon, you’ll see an option there to configure and customize some of these settings right over there. From the dashboard, you can go to your courses tab. The courses tab allows you to create courses quite easily. You can quickly add courses using the add button over there, and then you do have some sub tabs here. I’m not going to go to all of them, but I would just like to point out a few of them. The repository feature is an add-on feature which you can activate from your admin company settings. So certainly take a look at that as well as some other options including how to create and manage events in the system. Alright, we’ll go back to the courses section. We do have two main types of courses in eLeaP, the standard and observation checklist type courses. Feel free to check out additional videos on what those do, and from there we can certainly go to the learning path section. Alright, the learning path allows you to essentially create an aggregate of courses. You can select the type of learning path. We do have four types. For example, I’ll select the preset navigation so you can see. Essentially what that does is it allows you to create the types of courses you want, put ’em together and be able to assign this whole package to people in your organization, either groups or individuals. Scheduled release is one of our favorite tools. It lets you create groups of courses and design how they should be released to folks when you create those. Note that the learning path system is pretty robust. You can utilize it in different ways including reusing courses and the like. Let’s go to the skills module. The skills module allows you to see into the skills and competencies of your users. You can create different skills or manage skills, utilizing a combination of coursework or ojts or even manual entries, so feel free to check that out in more details. Credentials module allows you to have credentials created. These could be certifications or licenses and can be attributed to end users. And of course, you utilize your courses to deliver certifications. The OJT is next and that is a workhorse that allows you to essentially track a whole host of additional trainings and learnings that will occur in the system. And if you choose to, you can actually link those to specific skills and competencies. You simply have the setting indicated here, customized for your organization and you are off to utilizing this feature. In the user section we had indicated, we do have six types of users. You can import users and you can also link e-leap to external or third party systems using the API. You’re able to create custom fields in the system, utilize the smart assigning, user groups, as I mentioned, a powerful way of being able to manage your account. And of course you can utilize the user groups in combination with certain senior level users like managers or coordinators or even supervisors. Feel free to ask us if you have additional questions on that. Let’s go next to the reports area. The reports area allows you to look at system reports as well as schedule reports, and these could be recurring reports or ad hoc reports, and we do have videos to showcase that. For our account holders that have the e-commerce option. This is where you manage your e-commerce, including looking at sales promo codes, discounts, and the like right over there. This is the forums where you can have engagements and discussions in the system and then of course you’ve got your inbox that allows you to check out what is going on in the system. As we mentioned earlier on, this gear icon brings you to this company profile. This is limited to admin level users and you do have different tabs there, including your audit trail which is very important in regulated industries. Let’s go next to our gamification option and you’ll see the gamification settings that you have indicated come to light. In this case, for example, I see my score, I see a leader board and a whole host of other tracking events that we do track. This is a quick overview. Note that we do have several videos that go into more detail pertaining to all of the other features in the system. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
