Course Log
Scenario: Need to easily get course changes log
Scenario: How can I get a log of course changes?
Transcript:
Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this tutorial, we’re going to explore the course log feature. As you may know, eLeaP provides an audit trail for tracking changes in course assignments, completions, quiz results, and more. To further enhance this, we’ve introduced a dedicated course log.
When you enter any course, whether in edit mode or stats mode, you can access the course log by clicking on the dropdown arrow. This feature documents the changes occurring within the course. It’s important to note that the log doesn’t include course completions, as those are part of the audit trail, but it does track other course changes.
For instance, if I change the course category from ‘Compliance’ to ‘Micro Learning’ or adjust the duration from 15 to 20 minutes, these changes are recorded in the log. Adding a new lesson will also be documented.
As you implement these changes, the log continuously records them. If you navigate to your settings area and make edits there, these adjustments are also logged. After saving these changes, they’re reflected in the course log.
You have the capability to search within the course log. If you select the ‘Action’ option and search by a keyword, it will bring up relevant instances. Keep in mind the course log is specifically for internal course modifications. It does not cover course completions or quiz passes. For those details, you’ll still use the Audit Trail.
As always, if you have any questions about the course log or other features in eLeaP, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
