This is the third part in the six-part “Creating a Mindset for Change: Embracing Change” series of training videos. All six parts are intended to be taken sequentially, and spread over six to twelve weeks to complete the program.

The previous video told you about the importance of managing moments on the path to realizing your “I want” statements. The first two parts of this lesson will have given you an understanding of the concept behind the program. Part Three takes you deeper into the idea of embracing change.

Many of us only react to changes instead of making conscious choices based on what we want. So how do you begin to do that? You first need to play to your strengths, though sometimes you might not even be able to recognize them because they are so commonplace to you. This part of the program coaches you to recognize your strengths and utilize them to more easily get what you want. If you know what you do well, what you are passionate about, and what really interests you, you can begin to create positive outcomes and realize your “I want” statements.

Of course, everyone has weaknesses along with their strengths. Creating the outcomes you want also depends upon your awareness of these weaknesses. This portion of the program wraps up by helping you identify weaknesses and neutralize them. Working through the tools discussed in this part of the program will help you form the foundation needed to fully embrace your new mindset for change.
