Pronouns, such as I, you, he, she, are a part of speech that allows for more efficient dialogue. However, since many pronouns refer to a particular gender, some people have preferences for which pronouns to use when referring to them. In a conversational manner, this course teaches employees how to become more adept at learning and using a person’s preferred pronouns. This course explains how using a person’s preferred pronouns is one more piece in the puzzle of helping colleagues and coworkers feel valued, respected, and heard. This course helps team members understand why correct pronoun usage is important and how to shift any paradigms they may have on this issue.
