Overhead: Rigging Safety

The first thing riggers need to know is what type of sling is needed to lift the equipment. Slings come in various types of materials, and are selected based on the environment and type of load. The video discusses selecting the correct hitch to go with the sling. Workers learn how to calculate the weight of the load so one can pick the correct sling and hitch.
