This course covers a task many people do without giving much thought, driving. For the first time since the Great Recession, the U.S. has experienced three straight years of at least 40,000 roadway deaths, according to preliminary estimates released in 2019 by the National Safety Council.
This driving safety course recognizes driving as a highly complex task with incredible amounts of variability and many aspects drivers need to consider from the get-go. This course demonstrates safe practices for preparing to drive, driving at night or in adverse weather conditions, and navigating around trucks and buses.
