Allyship, which occurs when a person of privilege “sponsors” those who are disadvantaged or marginalized, is an ongoing process. Opening with a clear explanation of what it means to be an ally, this course demonstrates the differences between those of privilege and those who are marginalized in the context of how the two different types of people can live and work harmoniously. Collectively, the four modules in this course motivate employees to embrace the continuous process of paying attention to the underrepresented or marginalized and helping them to get a “seat at the table.” Present this course to teach employees how to be effective allies by providing opportunities for those who are marginalized in the workplace.
