How to insert an image into a Lesson

Video Transcription

Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick video I’ll show you how to upload and insert an image from your computer into a specific lesson within a course.

The first thing I’ll do is navigate to Courses at the top of the screen and then I’ll choose the course that I’d like to edit.

Next, I’ll find the lesson that contains the content that I’d like to update and click on the lesson title and I’ll be brought to this page where I can add and manage content in this lesson.

The eLeaP interface affords a lot of flexibility by allowing users to directly upload their own content. To insert an image from my computer, I’ll start by clicking this “Insert/edit image” button, here.

From here, I can click the “Choose File” button to select the image file from my computer. Note that the file types accepted by eLeaP are listed here.

Once I’ve selected my image I can click “Upload File” to upload it to eLeaP.

After the image is uploaded, you will see the native resolution of the file, shown here. If I want the image to appear larger or smaller, I can change these values.

Finally, I can click the “Insert” button to complete the process. Here you can see that a placeholder box has been added to indicate that the image has been successfully uploaded and inserted. I can click “Save” to view the actual image.

Keep in mind that you can edit and re-size an inserted image by clicking on the image and then once again clicking the “Insert/edit image” button.

Thanks for watching. If you have any additional questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
