Scenario A: Trainee misses a course deadline.

Hello, and welcome to eLeaP. In this quick tutorial, we want to discuss what happens after a course deadline has been missed. If you wanted to, you could set the system to prevent access. So in this course here, I simply go to my Settings tab and in the General Settings area I can to have this course not available after the deadline has been missed. What that basically means is that when the end user goes into the course and clicks to access the course, they are going to get an error that basically says that you can, you cannot access this course. So once that deadline is missed, um, you’ve basically given them the option, um, to either continue to view the course or not to view the course in this case here. If I go back to my Settings here and, uh, as you can see, I believe this is the course SOP for medical device, right?

I’ll go ahead and save this right quick. And then I’m gonna go to the end user view. I do hope this is the one, uh, course there. Let’s see, uh, here we go. This one right here. All right. So once I try to access this course, I’ll get this notice that says course is not available. So of course, as the admin, if you do want it to be available, simply toggle this to the on position, lock that in. And now of course, that course will be available to users. So you get a chance to decide what happens after a course. Deadline has expired for your end users as usual. If you have any questions about this or any other features in the system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
